Day Old chicks from hatchery are brought to broiler farms where they grown under hygienic conditions and provided with hygienic feed which makes them healthy and gain weight. From 7th week onwards, each broiler weighs 1 -1.5 kgs. And get ready for marketing purpose, after 7th week of having grown the broiler birds, and once they gain enough body weight birds are sent to processing plants or even sold to processing plants managed by others. At the processing plant birds are slaughtered into different parts and sold. Live birds are also sent to farm shop for further processing.At the slaughter house birds are cut into different parts and added value for marketing purposes as per the customer requirements.
